The hex sounds good in theory, but in a market that moves this fast, commitment feels like a trap.

This is the leapfrog anxiety objection — the fear that constraint means stagnation. It's a serious concern because the underlying observation is correct: AI tools do get leapfrogged. Products that were best-in-class six months ago sometimes aren't even competitive today. The graveyard of AI tools that peaked and faded is real and growing. If the hex meant "pick your tools once and never reconsider," the objection would be valid. But that's not what the hex means.
